Information for schools

We're always interested in hearing from schools that would like to host Kung Fu Kids.

Kung Fu Kids also takes part in the Australian Sports Commission's Active After-School Care program and we offer programs to after-school organisations.

What others have said

We're unashamedly proud of what we do.  But we're not the only ones who think we do a good job.
We've received very positive feedback from schools and members of the community.  For example, Joe Miranda, Principal of Our Lady Help of Christians School, wrote:

Kung Fu Kids program emphasises a respect for seniors, teamwork and using physical self defence only as a last resort to resolving personal conflict. They also teach some basic protective behaviours, personal safety strategies and ways of building self confidence in children.

I would recommend Kung Fu Kids to any institution looking to host their activities.

Part of the community

The kids are central to Kung Fu Kids.  But we're about more than instructing children for one hour each week.  We actively engage with our schools, parents and teachers as well as our local Parents & Citizen organisations.  We work in the community and with the community because, after all, this is where we live too.
